About Wan Yu Chen

Born and grew up in Taiwan, Wan Yu is an artist currently based in Taipei, Taiwan. She holds an BA degree from School of Visual Arts. In pursuing career of commercial photography, she is characteristic of simplicity black and white portraits and colorful still life images. For her personal works, she explores documentary photography and experimental cross-processing technique. Her works have been exhibited in New York and Taipei. Besides taking pictures, she is also a book lover. She makes handmade books with her images and currently teaching in Onfoto Studio, Taipei.
